What are veneers?

Thin pieces of porcelain that are cemented to your front teeth to perfect your smile, veneers are one of our most versatile cosmetic treatments at Irish Road Dental. Used for a variety of dental flaws, Dr. David Ewing can use veneers to repair a single tooth or transform your entire smile, depending on your individual needs and goals. We can use veneers to repair teeth that are chipped, discolored, unevenly spaced, crooked, or have uneven surfaces. When you visit your dentist for your cosmetic consultation, we will work together with you to determine whether dental veneers are right for your smile.

How are veneers made?

It generally takes two visits to our dental office to create and apply your dental veneers in Davison, Michigan. During your first visit, we prepare the selected tooth by gently reshaping your tooth enamel to accommodate the thickness of your veneer. Molds are then taken and will be used to make your custom veneer. Once created, your veneer is ensured for fit and finally cemented into place. If you take good care of your new smile, your veneers can last for over a decade. To learn more about veneers, please contact our dental office today. We would be happy to help you schedule your first appointment.
